In 1999, The Gardens on Jones launched the renewal and redevelopment of the western edge of the Historic District. Where once was found tin sheds, automobile lots and dilapidated buildings, one now finds upscale condos and town homes.
The two-building complex (one building faces the 300 block of West Jones Street, the other the 300 block of West Charlton Street) was designed to include an interior garden and courtyard. The large courtyard, centered by a fountain, reflects the Historic District's unique plan of residential space combined with garden areas. Our garden was featured on the 2014 annual NOGS (North of Gaston Street) Hidden Garden Tour and the 2015 80th annual Savannah Tour of Homes and Gardens.
The Gardens on Jones condominiums range from two to four bedrooms on one to two floors. All units enjoy direct elevator access, gated garage reserved parking underneath the buildings, and designated storage areas. Covered patios on each unit overlook the celebrated courtyard.
Two of Savannah's best restaurants are steps away. Two of Savannah's most beautiful squares are two blocks away. (If you have a dog, meet your neighbors there!) The best local shopping (The Downtown Design District) is only three blocks away! And there is so much more within easy walking distance.
The Gardens on Jones has become one of the premier condominium complexes in Savannah's Historic District.
